About

My name is Riley Murphy, and I am a digital illustrator and graphic designer. I was born on September 16th, 2001, and raised in Cazenovia, New York.

Whether it’s through Medibang Paint, or Adobe software such as Photoshop and InDesign, I thrive off illustrating charming characters, captivating graphics, and images that will leave an impression. I create hand-drawn assets, transform pre-made images, and exercise knowledge of tools and features to give everything the polish it needs to be successful. I can make people laugh, smile, or intrigued, adapting my creation process to whatever the situation demands.

There are four main ideas I follow when creating images: “Color,” “Flavor,” “Charm,” and “Passion.” Color brings eye-catching vibrancy to an image. Flavor gives an image a distinct personality. Charm makes an image memorable, maybe even giving viewers a personal connection to it. And lastly, passion serves as the backbone of everything I make; I create art because I am passionate about my subjects, and I incorporate color, flavor, and charm because I am passionate about the process of graphic design, wanting to make sure every inch of an image is as good as possible. Art is nothing without passion and a human touch; if you are passionate, it will show, then rub off on the people who see your work.

I am always available and looking for work, ready and willing to offer that passion to whoever is interested. To see more examples of what I have made, check the Works page.
